Frequently asked questions
Can I make my own flashcards?
Yes. You can add any word or phrase manually, and Speakylex also builds cards automatically from the lessons, chats and exercises you do — so your deck is truly your own.
Do flashcards need a picture?
No. A card works with just the word or prompt on one side and the meaning on the other, plus examples and audio. Images are optional — the review flow is simply remember / don't remember, then rate the difficulty.
How is this different from manual flashcard apps?
You still get your own cards and spaced repetition, but vocabulary is auto-collected from everything you learn inside Speakylex — no copying words or building decks by hand.
